RECIPES & TIPS

A PERFECT CUP OF KONA COFFEE

  1. The perfect cup of coffee starts with equipment which is scrupulously clean. From coffee filter to carafe to interior pipes, each part of your coffee maker needs to be kept clean on a regular basis.
  2. The best brewing method is an automatic drip system with a paper filter.
  3. Use fresh, cold water (Filtered if available).
  4. Use Whole Bean instead of Ground to ensure freshness!
  5. Grind coffee using blade or burr grinder to a consistent fine ground.
  6. Add one Tablespoon or "coffee scoop" of ground coffee to six ounces of water. You may add more or less depending on strength of flavor wanted.

  7. Coffee is very temperature sensitive! Brew only what will be consumed in an hour. Pour any leftover coffee into a glass thermos.
