RECIPES & TIPSA PERFECT CUP OF KONA COFFEE
Coffee is very temperature sensitive! Brew only what will be consumed in an hour. Pour any leftover coffee into a glass thermos. Hawaii, 100% Kona coffee, kona, Big Island, coffee, farm, world famous, drink coffee, Mauna Loa, volcano, lava, hand picked, estate, gourmet, farmer direct, gourmet gift, gift, 100%, pure kona 4 Strips - 3" x 1/2" - orange peel
Place orange peel, lemon peel and cloves into the bottom of a drip coffee
carafe. Brew coffee as directed so that hot coffee drips into spices. Divide
between four, warmed mugs. Sweeten to taste. Serves 4. Enjoy!
1 ripe banana
Cut banana into chunks and combine with coffee and sugar in a blender. Blend at high speed. When mixture is smooth, add ice cream and blend at medium speed until smooth. Pour into two, 12oz glasses. Serves 2. Yummy!
Kona Coffee Punch 2 qts. Strong brewed Kona coffee (Mountain Valley French Roast) Pour cooled coffee over softened ice cream. Fold in whipped cream. Add other
ingredients; mix until smooth; may use mixer on low. Serve in a punch bowl. If
desired, sprinkle cinnamon over punch or ad cinnamon stick to cups or
glasses. GREAT FOR BRUNCHES OR BUFFETS! Oh! So Good!! Old Time Kona Coffee Cake 1 Cup sugar Icing: Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, flour, 1 cup of the coffee, baking powder, cinnamon, cloves, and walnuts. Stir while adding the remaining ½ cup coffee until well blended. Bake in
greased loaf pan at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Let cake cool. Prepare icing:
Over low heat, combine the ingredients for the icing and heat until smooth.
Spread on cake!
